Infiniti G35 first servicing

I am here at a local Infiniti dealer for the first scheduled maintenance servicing on my Infiniti G35. It’s a simple oil change, supposedly taking 60 to 90 minutes.

Leaving LA, round 2

On the bus back to Bay Area. ‘Round 2′ because the bus had to loop back to pick up one passenger.

[Update @ 2008-09-01T12:46-8:00] I blogged too early. It’s almost 50 minutes later and we are at the last pickup point before leaving for Bay Area.

Half way to LA

Picture was taken at a rest stop half way to LA.

How times have changed. In 2001 I also took a bus to LA. Back then I had no cellphone to call my friend when the arrival was significantly delayed due to heavy traffic. Today not only do I have voice communication, I have data network (although a slow one) at my fingertips.

I must conserve my iPhone battery now, otherwise I might be thrown back to the archaic 2001 days.

30 to 40 minutes

I am waiting outside Stacks restaurant in Menlo Park for a RJC friend
and a table. It will be 30 to 40 minutes before a table is ready.

I am sitting inside a Chinese restaurant waiting for my dinner takeout and killing time with moblogging.

大家猜不出来照片里是什么东东吧？那是半杯水。

什么水呢？是很贵的水。

为什么很贵呢？因为那是用灵芝煮的水。

什么灵芝呢？可不是普通灵芝噢。那是台湾的野生赤灵芝，很贵的哟。

哎，钱就是这样败掉的啊。

注：灵芝水喝了后并不会得到任何功力，灵芝本身我就不知道了。
